Overview The SEO & Content Writer Intern plays a crucial role in enhancing the online presence of the organization through effective content creation, optimization, and strategic implementation of SEO techniques. This role is essential in driving organic traffic, improving search engine rankings, and increasing brand visibility.
Key Responsibilities - Conducting keyword research to identify content opportunities
- Writing and editing SEO-friendly content for web pages, blogs, and articles
- Developing and implementing link building strategies
- Analyzing website performance using SEO tools and platforms
- Collaborating with marketing and design teams to optimize content
- Monitoring and reporting on website traffic, rankings, and performance metrics
- Staying updated on industry trends and algorithm changes
- Assisting in the creation of email marketing campaigns
- Supporting the development of SEO and content marketing reports
- Assuring content aligns with brand voice, style, and tone
Required Qualifications - Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or related field
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and principles
- Strong writing and editing skills with attention to grammar and punctuation
- Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and keyword research tools
- Understanding of web analytics and data-driven decision making
- Familiarity with social media platforms and their impact on SEO
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Basic understanding of HTML and website structure
- Experience with content creation and optimization is a plus
