Roles And Responsibilities We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Designer who will be responsible for designing and developing
Special Purpose Machines, Automation, Robotics, and Assembly systems. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in
SolidWorks , strong knowledge of
pneumatics , and experience in costing and
BOM or 2D documentation . As a Mechanical Designer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative solutions that meet our clients' unique requirements.
Key Responsibilities - Design and develop Special Purpose Machines, Automation, Robotics, and Assembly systems using SolidWorks software.
- Collaborate with engineers, clients, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and constraints.
- Utilize your expertise in pneumatics to design efficient and reliable pneumatic systems for automation applications.
- Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and BOMs for manufacturing and assembly.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis for proposed designs.
- Ensure designs meet industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.
- Provide technical support during the manufacturing and assembly phases.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to source materials and components for the projects.
- Continuously research and stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in Special Purpose Machines, Automation, Robotics, and Assembly.
Candidate - Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Designer in the field of Special Purpose Machines, Automation, Robotics, and Assembly.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and other relevant design software.
- Strong knowledge and experience in pneumatics, including the design of pneumatic systems for automation.
- Experience in costing and preparing detailed BOMs for projects.
- Ability to create accurate 2D documentation for manufacturing and assembly.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to Special Purpose Machines and Automation is a plus.
- Willing to travel to client sites within and outside India (on a need basis)
