Job description

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  
• Experience developing application integration with ERP, CRM, PLM, SCM, and TMS systems, and working with their industry standard business processes.
  
• Experience with standard EDI X12 documents including 850, 856, 810, 860 and 852, and with implementing warehouse EDI documents including 940, 943, 944, and 945.

Preferred qualifications:

• Knowledge of system integration, information management, data modeling, development methodologies (including unit testing) and web technologies.
• Ability to work with ambiguity and thrive in a changing business environment.
  
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  

About the job

As a Technical Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for the technical relationship of our largest advertising clients and/or product partners. You will lead cross-functional teams in Engineering, Sales and Product Management to leverage emerging technologies for our external clients/partners. From concept design and testing to data analysis and support, you will oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's online advertising platforms and/or product partnerships.

You will be able to balance business and partner needs with technical constraints, develop innovative, cutting edge solutions and act as a partner and consultant to those you are working with. You will also be able to build tools and automate products, oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's partnerships, as well as develop product strategy and prioritize projects and resources.

As a Technical Solutions Consultant, you will help refine and grow the capabilities of current systems, driving continuous improvement to meet our engineering needs. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and sustaining application integrations across a wide range of business applications. In this role, you will also promote best practices and internal business processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy integration processes that support the exchange of business documents with Google Devices and Services' trading partners.
• Onboard new partners into Devices and Services' Business Systems infrastructure.
• Ensure that integration messages pass accurately to and from Google Devices and Services' business systems.
• Partner with internal teams to define and implement solutions that improve internal business processes.
• Build internal solutions, maintain development practices (e.g., technical design, solution development, systems configuration, test documentation/execution, issue identification, and resolution), and write clean, modular and self-sustaining code.
