We empower brands to create authentic and sustainable products that leave a lasting impact on the beauty industry. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Formulation Chemist. The Formulation Chemist will be responsible for conducting research and development, creating formulations, utilizing laboratory skills for quality control, and applying analytical skills in product development. The role requires closely collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effective product development.The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in skincare and cosmetics formulation and a strong understanding of trending product formulations in the beauty industry.i Qualifications Strong knowledge and experience in formulation and product development Proficient in laboratory operations, including quality control and analysis Experience in conducting analytical testing and knowledge of instruments such as HPLC, GC, and FTIR Familiarity with FDA regulations and cGMP guidelines Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry or related field Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills Good communication and organizational skills Stay updated on emerging trends, regulations, and innovations in the skin care manufacturing industry to drive product innovation. Perform stability testing and troubleshoot formulation issues as needed. Requirements: 1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Cosmetics Science, or related field. 2. 1-3 years of experience in formulation development, preferably in personal skincare. 3. Strong knowledge of trending product formulations and ingredients in the beauty industry. 4. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial include experience working in the cosmetic industry or with natural and organic ingredients, knowledge of emulsions, suspensions, and solutions, and experience with stability testing and shelf life studies.
