Cost Estimation Engineer - Process Plants - Full Time - Pune, India
Join our CT_Process Plants team within Chemtech division in India as Cost Estimation Engineer - Process Plants.
Your main tasks and responsibilities: - Preparation of Mechanical Data Sheet for static Equipments
- PV Elite model preparation for all Static Equipment's.
- RFQ generation for Static Equipment.
- Vendor Offer Review.
- Cost estimation for modular process plant involving all disciplines like mechanical (static as well as rotating)/ instrumentation / piping / structure cost estimation (civil).
- Detailed Cost Estimation for Static Equipment viz Column, Heat Exchanger, Pressure Vessel.
- Identifies labor, material, and time / manhour requirements.
- Presents prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.
- Assist in preparation of cost effective and cost accurate Proposals.
- Document control and management related to cost estimation.
- Vendor Contact development.
- Follow up with vendor and supplier for Technically Compliant quotations.
- Develop new suppliers for various product category or services.
- Revise and conclude incoming Requests for Proposals (RFP's).
- Assist project management, contracting & Sales personnel with bid analysis and contract negotiations.
- Participate in Cost Variance analysis and invoices.
- Participate pre and post bid meetings as required.
- Assist in Global initiatives of Cost Estimation & Proposal.
- Log quotations and tender's database for cost tracking and historical information.
What you bring to Sulzer: - Required Qualification: B. E. / B. Tech in Mechanical with good experience in cost estimation of Pressure Vessel, heat Exchanger / Column & Skid Mounted Systems.
- Required Experience: 6-8 years .
