Job Summary We are looking to hire an experienced data scientist who can help in building advanced analytics and cognitive/ AI solutions. He/ she must be an experienced hands-on expert and must have experience in building solutions/ POC's for customers during pre-sales and delivery.
Education/Qualification - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field.
- Master's degree in Data Science or equivalent relevant business or technical discipline will be a plus.
Roles And Responsibilities - Implements solutions to complex problems using Machine Learning
- Establishes customer-focused analytics capabilities through visioning, leadership, and mentoring.
- Challenges status-quo and discovers improvement opportunities in systems, processes and enterprises through data analytics thereby helping clients get more out of their investments.
- Generates reports for decision-making using data visualization and data mining Leads innovation by applying data analysis skill sets to develop cutting edge solutions
- Establishes and maintains collaboration with other internal teams to apply cloud computing capabilities for the application of production and proprietary algorithms.
- Provide guidance and on-the-job training to data science team members with issues needing technical expertise or complex systems and/ or programming knowledge.
- Provide technical training to external team members to foster stronger cross-departmental relations.
- Stay abreast with the advancements in the fields of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
Required Skills - 5-8 years of experience in data science, data analysis, and/or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in Python in working with machine learning and statistical modules/packages.
- Deep Learning experience with CNNs, RNN, LSTMs and the latest research trends
- Good applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc.
- Proficiency in work with open-source deep learning libraries like OpenCV, TensorFlow, Keras, Pytorch etc.,
- Experience in building models, including data extraction and cleansing, feature selection and engineering, and model selection/ validation.
- Strong communication competencies including presentation and delivery of complex quantitative analyses in a clear, concise, and actionable manner to extended team and groups of key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated expertise of solution development during pre-sales & delivery including excellent documentation skills.
