Job description
1. Ensure quality production of SBP and manage activities of shift workers. 2. Ensure timely reporting of MIS generation, production reports, Stock, Losses & deviation reports. 3. Maintain critical parameters and monitor any deviations 4. Take corrective actions on deviating parameters in coordination with shift incharge. 5. Ensure plant operation as per SOP. 6. Ensure plant start up and stoppage as per the guidelines. 7. Prompt actions on deviations to avoid quality issues in product. 8. Arrange for proper and timely dispatches of goods 9. Implementation of SOP check list for incoming material. 10. Supervise the people and impart training on Drum operations 11. Handling of finished product and stacking of different grades.
2. Product Quality: Maintain quality of the product so as to meet customer requirements.1. Maintain process and quality parameters strictly. 2. Maintain process parameters to meet customer's quality requirements. 3. Quickly switchover parameters during load variations to ensure product quality. 4. Maintain Product identification and traceability.
3. Cost Control Control cost of production to achieve production within budgeted cost.1. Maintain stringent control on process parameters 2. Timely control deviations from SOPs for optimization of chemical consumption. 3. Ensure equipment running at optimal efficiency. 4. Control any idle running of equipment 5. Check consumption of raw materials, packing a. material and utilities & maintain stocks on b. daily basis.
4. System Management (Safety, Sustainability & WCM) & Environment Statutory compliance. Adhere to safety & statutory environmental requirements1. Strictly adhere to safety norms & safe operational procedures as per ABG sustainability standards. 2. Implement IMS, WCM and sustainability practices. 3. Handle emergency situations like Liquid Chlorine leakages etc. under Disaster Management activities 4. Train the team to comply with these norms 5. Maintain process systems having zero effluent and zero accident. 6. Impart functional training to people/contractor 7. Ensure running of De-chlorination unit. 8. Ensure containment/treatment of effluent & proper disposable of sludge.
5. Customer Service Follow directives and meet customer needs1. Meet internal and external customer needs & take timely action on the same 2. Make final product dispatch as per customer requirement. 3. Implementation of suggestion/feed back from customer redressal system.
