Join the DPEA Engineering Operations (DEO) team as a Senior Project/Program Manager leading the organization in program development and management. As a senior leader, you will manage programs of large, global scope, impact and complexity through all phases of the product lifecycle, shepherding one or more HW Product Development Teams (PDT's). In this role, you will specifically be the Senior Program Manager responsible and overseeing the next generation Xeon platform server hardware development and operations execution.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Handle cross organizational programs of broad scope and high complexity or of broad scope and moderate complexity usually managing a core team that manages functionally specific teams.
- Has ultimate decision-making authority at the program level.
- Serves as the key interface and leader of the program between Data Platform Engineering and Architecture and Business Unit stakeholders and leadership.
- Influence business unit or cross organizational strategies relevant to program goals.
- Key interface with stakeholders and leadership internally and externally.
- Leads the Core HW team(s), guiding performance of functional teams usually through other PM leads.
- Plans and manages both programs and projects that are directly tied to the development and implementation of products for external customers.
- Identify tasks, determine dependencies, identify and assign specific resources, communicate expectations to team members, obtain task effort and duration estimates from team members, and create/track the project schedule.
- Coordinates resources with other functional areas and management.
- Actively manage the program to ensure that quality standards and budget constraints are met.
- Assesses risk and identify issues related to the delivery of the Xeon platform.
- Monitors progress against schedule.
- Review user and technical requirements for completeness and clarity.
- Requires thorough knowledge of business practices and procedures in order to perform or direct analytical work.
- Leads the team through problem solving processes to address wide range of difficult platform-level problems.
- Exercise judgment and discretion to develop solutions, remove obstacles and redefine approaches.
- Manage interdependencies and integration among multiple programs, teams, and stakeholders.
- Ensure appropriate indicators highlighting progress against schedule and takes remedial action as appropriate.
- Advanced understanding of the technical concepts, architecture, systems, development methods, and disciplines associated with the Xeon server platforms and utilizes knowledge to accelerate project execution.

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a positive factor in identifying top candidates. Requirements listed may be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or Master's degree in Engineering or MBA preferred.
- 6+ years of experience as a Program Manager in Electronics Product Development, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field.
- 6+ years of experience with Data Center technical concepts, architecture, systems, and product development methods.
- 4+ years of experience presenting to executives and external customers.

- Advanced English level.
Preferred qualifications:
- Familiarity with Server board, system and datacenter design and architecture
- Experience with hardware and software engineering methodology
- Technical understanding of Intel's silicon and/or platform Product Life Cycles (PLC's).
- Experience using OpEx / Lean methodologies to enhance efficiency is a plus.
- Past experience managing capital and/or expense budgets highly desired.
- Familiarity with hardware and software engineering methodologies is highly desired.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
