Data Engineer
Experience : 5-8
Location : Mohali, Gurgaon, Bangalore
Position Requirements and Qualifications:
- 5 - 8 years of experience supporting Data Warehouse & Data related environments.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake development.
- Advanced experience working in Informatica Power Centre.
- Advanced Oracle & Snowflake database skills including packages, procedures, indexing and query tuning.
- Solid experience in performance tuning ETL Jobs & Database queries
- Experience in working with Azure DevOps, Jira, TFS (Team Foundation Server) or other similar Agile Project Management tools.
- Proven individual contributor and team player with high communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in change by having a fast, flexible, cooperative work style and ability to reprioritize at a moment's notice.
Position Responsibilities:
- Contributor to the implementation of Snowflake with DBT, as part of GCC's Migration from Oracle to a cloud-based data warehousing.
- Design, develop, and optimize ELT processes within a cloud-based Data Warehouse environment.
- Implement and enhance ETL programs using Informatica Power Centre against the Data Warehouse and Adobe Campaign (Neolane) databases.
- Contribute to technical architectural planning, digital data modelling, process flow documentation and the design and development of innovative Digital business solutions.
- Create technical designs and mapping specifications.
- Estimate workload and participate in an Agile project team approach.
