Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Admissions Counselor to join our team. As an Admissions Counselor, you will play a crucial role in guiding prospective students through the admissions process and helping them make informed decisions about their education. This is a full-time position based in Pune, Maharashtra, India, and requires 1 to 3 years of experience in admissions counseling.
Qualifications And Skills - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- 1 to 3 years of experience in admissions counseling or a related role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide empathetic and supportive counseling to students
- Knowledge of admission procedures and requirements
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team
- Experience in career counseling is a plus
Roles And Responsibilities - Provide guidance and support to prospective students throughout the admissions process
- Assist students in understanding their educational goals and career aspirations
- Evaluate student applications and determine eligibility for admission
- Conduct admissions interviews and provide detailed information about program offerings
- Assess student needs and provide appropriate counseling and guidance
- Collaborate with academic departments to ensure accurate information dissemination
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions and application status
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in admission requirements
- Contribute to the development and implementation of admissions strategies
- Participate in outreach programs and events to attract prospective students
