Job Title- Purchase Executive
Location - Pune
Strategic Procurement:
- Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with company
objectives.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Optimize supplier relationships for maximum value.
Vendor Management:
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers.
- Continuously evaluate and assess supplier performance.
- Ensure supplier reliability and quality.
Cost Optimization:
- Implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining quality.
- Monitor market trends and pricing fluctuations.
- Make informed decisions to reduce procurement costs.
Inventory Management:
- Maintain optimal inventory levels of packaging materials.
- Implement efficient inventory control measures.
- Reduce carrying costs and avoid shortages.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure packaging materials meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with the Quality Control department.
- Ensure compliance with regulations.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor the procurement team.
- Foster a culture of accountability and innovation.
- Drive continuous improvement within the department.
Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the procurement budget.
- Monitor and report on budget variances.
- Take corrective actions when necessary.
Risk Mitigation:
- Identify potential supply chain risks.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Proactively address supply chain disruptions.
Compliance:
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies.
- Adhere to industry regulations and ethical standards.
Reporting:
- Prepare and present regular reports on procurement performance.
- Highlight cost savings and key metrics to senior management.
