As a Senior Operations Engineer, you will play a critical role in overseeing and managing all aspects of oil and gas production operations. You will be responsible for optimizing production processes, ensuring safety and efficiency, and implementing best practices to achieve operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize oil and gas production operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and drive operational improvements.
- Identify and implement cost-reduction initiatives and process improvements.
- Monitor production activities, analyze data, and generate reports to identify areas for improvement and optimize production efficiencies.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and implement maintenance and reliability programs.
- Participate in risk assessment and mitigation activities to ensure operational safety and environmental sustainability.
- Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and best practices and leverage them to enhance operational performance.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and actively contribute to a culture of operational excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Petroleum Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in oil and gas production operations, with a focus on process optimization and operational excellence.
- In-depth knowledge of production operations, process engineering, and industry regulations.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to analyze production data and identify improvement opportunities.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Experience in implementing and managing safety and risk management processes.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Experience with production software and tools is a plus.
