Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an EEG / Neurophysiology Technician for a senior neuorologist at Sharanjit Hospital - India located in Jalandhar. The EEG Technician will be responsible for performing EEG tests to diagnose and monitor brain activity, identifying and documenting any abnormalities, and liaising with physicians to interpret test results and diagnose disorders. Candidate must also be proficient in neurophysiological testing including NCV, VEP, BAER, EMG etc. The Technician will also be involved in patient care and education.

Qualifications

• Expertise in EEG and neurophysiology
• Experience in diagnosing and monitoring epilepsy and other neurological disorders
• Strong knowledge of medicine and healthcare practices
• Excellent patient care skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families
• Relevant certification and licensure
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is preferred

Knowledge of additional languages spoken in the Punjab region is also valued.
