What will you do
- Technical Leadership: Provide leadership and strategic direction for the IT team, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry best practices. Oversee the implementation and management of IT systems, infrastructure and security measures to enhance efficiency and safeguard organisational assets. Plan & conduct system upgrades and manage hardware/software inventory effectively. Efficiently manage CapEx / OpEx to optimize spending and ensuring a balanced and cost-effective approach to IT investments
- Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of IT managers and support staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous learning. Allocate resources effectively, manage workloads, and ensure optimal performance and productivity within the team
- User Support & Satisfaction: Provide comprehensive IT support to end users and various departments within the organisation. Elevate user satisfaction by leading a support team committed to timely and effective issue resolution. Implement user-focused solutions, enhancing their experience with our IT services
- Technology Stack Management: Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in IT, particularly within the M365 application layers, AI & automation applications and SAP environment. Oversee and optimize our application landscape, ensuring efficiency and innovation. Manage a spectrum of applications critical to our operations and user experience
- Network Infrastructure & Security: Oversee the management of technical infrastructure, including networking landscape, hyper-convergence infrastructure, VMs, Apple Mac environment and Windows servers. Implement and manage perimeter security devices to safeguard office data, media content and assets from external threats and ensuring a secure environment
- Ecosystem Integration: Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies to enhance security measures. Foster seamless integration between different operating systems, including Windows and Mac. Manage & enhance audio-video conferencing systems, enabling seamless communication and collaboration. Offer technical guidance and training to employees, promoting IT literacy and self-service
Who should apply
- Candidates with proficiency in the Apple Mac ecosystem, including Apple iOS for iPhone and iPads, and Mac OS for laptops and iMacs, Linux OS & Windows OS
- Microsoft certification, such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) is preferred
- Thorough understanding of M365 application layers, Cloud Infrastructure & hosting, Google Workspaces, and SAP is a must
- Individuals proficient in application stack management infrastructure, networking, and security management
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively, adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving IT landscape
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to ensure user-level satisfaction and effective interaction is crucial to success in this role
