what we are looking for:
We are seeking for experienced Senior Project
Manager to join our team at DHL IT Services. As a project manager is a professional
who organizes, plans, and executes projects while working within restraints
like budgets and schedules. Project managers lead entire teams, define project
goals, communicate with stakeholders, and see a project through to its closure.
Responsibilities:
- Planning: Developing
project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
- Budgeting: Estimating
project costs, managing the project budget, and tracking expenses.
- Team Management: Assembling and leading project teams, assigning tasks, and ensuring
collaboration and effective communication.
- Risk Management: Identifying and assessing potential project risks, developing mitigation
strategies, and implementing risk management plans.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Tracking project progress, monitoring key performance indicators, and providing
regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Quality Control: Ensuring
project deliverables meet quality standards and conducting quality assurance
checks.
- Stakeholder Management: Identifying project stakeholders, managing their expectations, and addressing
any issues or concerns.
- Change Management: Assessing and managing changes to project scope, schedule, and resources.
- Problem-solving: Identifying and resolving project issues and obstacles.
- Documentation: Maintaining
project documentation, including project plans, reports, and other relevant
records.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's or master’s degree in a relevant field such
as project management, business administration, or engineering is often
preferred.
- Sr. Project Manager with over 10+ years of experience.
- Minimum 5+ years of project management experience,
including tracking and planning projects.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience working with business
stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment.
- Full project life cycle ownership: successful project
delivery.
- Manage the day-to-day project activities and chairs the
project management team meetings.
- Excellent experience in SDLC Methodologies, Agile, SCRUM,
SDLC / Waterfall.
- Proficient project management experience with technical
and domain specific business knowledge.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a specialist-based,
high-performing, and multicultural team.
- Demonstrated people leadership capability to drive and
motivate staff to meet project deliverables.
- Proficient customer relationship and negotiation skills,
in order to define project scope, time and quality requirements.
- Strongly demonstrated leadership in project process and
planning activities, strategic approach.
- Proficient experience in preparation of project plans
with appropriate budget and resource requirements.
- Results-oriented and driven by goal achievement with a
strong focus on excellence and high-quality project delivery.
- Proficient experience in stakeholder and communication
management.
