Procurement specialist – Contingent Workforce

Wroclaw (Poland) & Gurgaon (India)

This position reports to the HR services, Marketing / Communication & Contingent Workforce Global Category Manager. Global Sourcing & Procurement department is managing 3rd party spending for Information Technologies, Insurance Procurement and General expenses. Within the Indirect scope, HR services, Marketing / Communication & Contingent Workforce are one of them. With a relentless focus on profitability, as a procurement specialist, your objective is to ensure, for Contingent Workforce spending & a few categories, to get the best value from 3rd party relationships while keeping appropriate controls & risk management in place. The Procurement Specialist supports a Global Category Manager, or leads a one-off project, by managing tasks required by the procurement policy and processes in cooperation with Stakeholder / Group / AXA GI's contacts.

What will your essential responsibilities include

  • Contribute to the implementation of category strategies at a global level (across multiple geographies & time zones), under the supervision of a Global Category Manager.
  • To deliver savings on AXA XL Contingent Workforce Program to reach our company's targets (Expense reduction and cost avoidance).
  • Support collection & analysis of metrics related to the Contingent Workforce scope (qualitative and quantitative benefits).
  • Support Dashboarding on Contingent workforce across AXA XL.
  • Contribute & support AXA Group efficiencies projects as a lead for AXA XL.
  • Execute Contingent Workforce roadmap for Systems integration, D&I introduction & best practices around this category.
  • Manage Contingent Workforce sourcing committees in line with the Contingent Labour Policy.
  • Manage Contingent Workforce outsourcing provider performance-based SLAs/KPIs contractually agreed.
  • Support required checks and due diligence to meet risk, audit, and compliance requirements.
  • Contribute, when relevant, to cross-functional teams in procurement and general projects as well as pro-actively supporting other team members in their tasks and activities (e.g.: legal framework, benefit methodology…).
  • Contribute to various projects or manage a one-off project end to end (ad-hoc basis).
  • Analysis (spend analysis, definition of service specifications, market survey, AXA leverage).
  • Prospect & select supplier (RFI/RFP/RFQ process, selection grid, contract negotiation).
  • Contract & implement (contract architecture & negotiation, QSCT, onboarding, performance management and 360° strategic & commercial relationship management).

Required Skills And Abilities

  • End-to-end procurement knowledge, category strategy execution, procurement background.
  • Prior experience as a buyer in an international procurement department in Marketing/communication services and tangible outcomes that have been reached.
  • Procurement project management, market intelligence; knowledge of tools (Coupa, P2P, Contract Management) & Processes (Global Vendor Risk Framework).
  • Desired Skills and Abilities:
