Job Description: Primary Grade Teacher (Global Perspective )
Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop a comprehensive curriculum that integrates global perspectives into various subjects, such as social studies, geography, history, and language arts.
2. Incorporate current events, global issues, and cross-cultural content into lesson plans.
3. Deliver engaging lessons that promote critical thinking, analytical skills, and cultural awareness.
4. Use a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
5. Facilitate discussions on cultural diversity, global challenges, and international cooperation.
6. Work collaboratively with other teachers, administrators, and community members to enhance global perspectives across the school.
7. Organize and participate in interdisciplinary projects and events.
8. Incorporate technology and digital resources to enhance global education, including virtual collaborations with international schools and online resources.
9. Develop appropriate assessments to measure students' understanding of global issues.
10. Provide constructive feedback to help students develop a well-rounded global perspective.
11. Stay informed about current global events and educational trends.
12. Attend workshops, conferences, and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
Requirements
1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in education, international studies, global affairs, or a related field.
2. Must have taught Global perspective in a Cambridge board school for atleast 3 years.
3. Should be able to teach English, Math, and Science along with Global Perspective.
4. Cambridge Certification will be an added advantage.
5. Strong intercultural communication skills and an appreciation for cultural diversity.
6. Genuine interest in promoting global awareness and fostering a sense of responsibility for global issues among students.
7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. Proficiency in using educational technology and online resources.
