Job description
How does the role serve the patients
Work with internal and external stakeholders to co-create strategies and solutions that help expand access to healthcare and promote standard of care for patients inthe state
Accountabilities
You must
Bring Access expertise and strategic insight to the State Cluster Team, leading the development of State Cluster Access strategy and supporting the State Cluster Strategy Plan.
Build strategic partnerships with relevant policy makers, influencers, institutions,
NGOs, and patient organizations to overcome access barriers and support strategic goals
Co-create partnership agreements and strengthen strategic alliance with partners along with other functions
Work with key decision makers and influencers in the state health systems to drive health systems strengthening efforts and ensure adequate capacity & capability to support optimum health outcomes for patients
Work with key decision makers and influencers in the state health systems to drive policy shaping efforts and ensure prioritization of focus therapy areas with sustainable funding flows to support optimum health outcomes for patients Leverage access solutions from the Access centre of excellence to increase funding and healthcare capacity for access to innovation
Build strong connect and working relationships with Internal stakeholders to mobilize resources from enabling function/community to support the partners Share best practices with Access Partners in other State Clusters and within the State Cluster team, transferring learnings & ideas and supporting the delivery of national projects
Establish equity of Roche as an innovative organization focused on citizen wellbeing and patient access to high quality healthcare
I nternal Stakeholders
You should be able to manage
State Cluster Head, State Cluster Team, Access Partners in other State Clusters, Rare Condition Partners; License To Operate functions (eg Compliance, Legal, PV, MAP, Pricing etc), Access CoE, Global Access Team, Access Teams in other affiliates etc
External Stakeholders
You should be able to manage
Strategic alliance partners, Policy makers, Government officials, HCPs, Clinical sites, Business partners, Service providers, Regulatory Bodies, Hospitals, Doctors, Patients
Groups, NGOs, Industry Bodies
You must have these following functional Competencies
Program and project management, Alliance management, Stakeholders engagement, State health system understanding, Public Policy understanding, Health tech awareness, Access skills, Policy skills, Strategic Planning, Structured Thinking,
Business Acumen, Strong Communication Skills.
Behavioral Competencies
Eligibility Criteria (Qualification and Experience)
You must have
relevant Post-graduate degree required, MBBS / MBA / MHA/ MPH / Masters in Public policy / Masters degree in Communications or equivalent from premier institutes preferred
More than 5 years of experience in public health, health development sector, market
access or strategy roles is preferred
Experience of working in reputed health sector organizations in public or private sectors
Understanding of stateu2019s healthcare delivery and administration, infrastructure,
healthcare levers and health policy needs
English language knowledge, written and verbal is preferred, knowledge of local language is an advantage
Willingness to relocate
