Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a financial analyst. The financial analyst will be responsible for financial planning, analysis, and reporting. The day-to-day tasks will involve analyzing financial statements, creating financial reports, and providing financial advice to support business decisions. The financial analyst will also help with forecasting and budgeting.
Selected candidate's day-to-day responsibilities include
- Assist in preparing and analyzing financial reports (income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements)
- Support team with metrics and data to perform a financial analysis of the company
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and insights
- Develop and maintain financial models, forecasting tools, and budget templates.
- Have a good understanding of business activities to aid the team in the analysis of cost and revenue drivers.
- Conduct a variance analysis to identify key drivers of financial performance and trends.
- Assist with ad-hoc financial projects.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Participate in meetings and presentations to communicate financial findings
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with keen attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial modeling tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Prior relevant work experience in finance or accounting (a plus)
- Knowledge of financial concepts and accounting principles
- Eagerness to learn and willingness to take on new challenges
- Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial include proficiency in financial analysis software, experience with data visualization tools, and a certification in finance or accounting.
