Senior System Administrator

Role

This role is responsible for providing technical support to employees. They will work closely with other IT professionals to resolve computer-related issues and ensure that all systems are functioning properly.

 

Responsibilities

· Ensure the IT issues/tickets are promptly addressed, documents and resolved within SLA.

· Co-ordination on asset purchase and management

· Document and inventory management, assets, onboarding, and FNF.

· Troubleshoot various Office 365/ G-Suite issues including connectivity. O365 Administration security, compliance, defender, and SharePoint.

· Implement SAML, O-Auth, SSO, Azure AD with GPO platforms.

· Management and upkeep of VC solutions, CCTV system and Attendance Machine.

· Coordinate internal and external security audits, respond to audit findings, and ensure compliance with relevant security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC, CSA, GDPR).

· Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify and remediate network vulnerabilities. Keep abreast of the latest security threats and industry trends.

 

Required experience & skills

· Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

· 5+ years of experience in providing technical support to end users.

· Basic Hardware and networking troubleshooting.

· Experience with security threats and rule management at the firewall level.

· Hands on experience in Firewall, Access point, VLAN, VPN, DNS, Sub-netting & Routing.

· Knowledge in Endpoint and Email Security.

· Strong working knowledge of Routing & Layer 3 Switching.

· Strong Knowledge of SAML, O-Auth, SSO, Azure AD with GPO platforms.

· Experience in various Office 365/ G-Suite issues including connectivity. O365 Administration security, compliance, defender, and SharePoint.

· Mobile Device Management on JAMF, ManageEngine product.

· Strong working knowledge of Operating System Software (Microsoft Windows Client, Mac, and Linux).

· Solid understanding and ability to troubleshoot networking concepts (TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, Wireless, Cabling including network interfaces, and network security).

· Familiar with DNS definition, MX & A record, reverse lookup etc.

· Patch Management Solution.

· Data encryption like BitLocker, fire vault etc.

· Strong Knowledge in Linux terminal command.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Excellent communication, coordination, and time management skills.

 

Preferred experience

· Ability to analyze complex network security issues, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.

· Knowledge of DLP solutions.

· Incident and Event management.

· Data life cycle management.

· Cross domain authentication.

· Azure O365 Immutable ID knowledge.

· IT security GAP assessment, and Vulnerability management.

· Familiar with Clustering and Data backup in email platform.
