Job description

Criteria:
Mechanical/Chemical Engineer with minimum 3-5 years of experience in design calculation.
Experience in design calculation of Static Equipment like Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers
and Vacuum Vessels according to the design code of ASME or EN 13445.
Hands of PV Elite or Auto Pipe Vessel is must.
Co-Ordination with Third Party Notified Body like TUV, Llyods for Approval of Design
Documents for PED Certification / "U" Stamp
Experience on Wind and Seismic Conditions (EN and UBC ) / Welding Technology (EN and
UWS) / Heat Treatment is a must
Sufficient expertise to work independently.
Fluent in English.
Proactive with excellent problem solving, organizational and communication skills.

 

:
Reports to the Team Manager Mechanical Calculation.
Performs Mechanical Calculation of equipment as per received drawings/ Technical
sheets/Project design basis, according to the required Design Code and Calculation Software.
Responsible for the quality and accuracy of the Design Calculation
Carries out the assigned jobs on time as per the given schedule
Clarify all doubts with the Senior Design Engineer/Respective drawing production Team Leader.
Filling the weekly Time Sheet
Liaise with Workshop / Quality Control Inspector for all Design related Issues.
