Director, Data and Analytics
Be a part of PVH Supply Chain Analytics! This Data & Analytics team is passionate about unleashing the full potential of a world-class, data-driven Supply Chain through exceptional data & analytics and impactful business insights. The Supply Chain Data & Analytics (SDA) team is a critical driver unlocking transformational benefits and driving strategic priorities within our Supply Chain.
This team is responsible for building out Data and Analytics deliverables in PVH's Enterprise Data Platform (Lighthouse) related to Supply Chain initiatives such as Cost Optimization, Delivery Performance, Profitability, Supply Chain Visibility, Traceability and Sustainability and others. This team is also responsible for supporting supply chain leaders with ad-hoc analytics requests in response to business conditions.
The Director of Data & Analytics Development will lead an India-based development team for Supply Chain function and will work closely with PVH Technology Teams, Supply leadership and our global stakeholders to build out world-class Supply Chain Analytics solutions within Lighthouse. This individual will leverage their technical and analytical experience to lead their team on multiple reporting & analytics deliverables enabling the PVH Supply Chain with data & insights to make informed decisions.
General Responsibilities PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB: - Lead Supply Chain data and analytics development team in India to deliver intuitive, best-in-class analytics to the global Supply Chain organization to support the strategic priorities.
- Hire, Guide and Mentor resources in the team, building a strong, motivated team with ever growing skill
- Manage all development activities for Supply Chain data and analytics on Lighthouse platform.
- Collaborate with IT on Data Engineering, Data Requirements and Lighthouse standards and processes.
- Ownership of Project Management and Sprint processes within SDA team.
- Help with identification of Supply Chain use cases for analytics within Lighthouse.
- Participate in prioritization of use cases and management of the backlog.
- Manage team to provide second level support for content within Lighthouse for end users.
- Define the role of Databricks in building a strong data & analytics delivery team, establishing appropriate processes, use cases and training for enabling it within the team.
- Contributes insights for the continuous improvement of the overall analytics environment and processes.
- Additional focus on Advanced Analytics, Data Science use-cases and development, building for predictive analytics.
- Provide thought leadership and recommendations for optimizing the data, metrics, cubes, structure, performance and ways of working in the analytics environment.
- Work Closely with Dir Business Analytics and Dir Product Management to ensure D&A's focus and alignment with PVH's strategic priorities.
Collaboration - Partner with other SDA leaders to influence data and analytics capability roadmap, looking at flow of data end to end.
- Collaborate across brands and regions to standardize and simplify toolset, data hierarchy, methodologies, metrics and reporting.
- Partner with TPG to model out and evaluate relative cost of initiatives and ensure efficient use of resources.
Analytics - Prioritize the backlog of analytics capabilities and ensure delivery against prioritized backlog.
- Demonstrated skill at data cleansing, data quality assessment, and using analytics for data assessment.
- Understand evolving internal supply chain systems landscape and data architecture.
- Define and manage the use of Databricks, inclusive of cost monitoring.
- Define the processes for piloting and scaling advanced analytics use cases
- Lead team of developers in multiple regions to:
- Analyze & report internal and external data relevant to PVH Supply Chain using best in class data visualization techniques to maximize value
- Perform variety analyses, hypothesis testing, and causal analyses to statistically assess data trends and communicate the insights.
- Collaborate with a stakeholders in India, US, Amsterdam and Hong Kong including SDA counterparts, Vendor Management Team, Brands and Businesses, IT, CR Team & external service partners to leverage appropriate data sources for analysis and reporting, gain alignment and resolve issues.
- Provide insights for business executives and departmental leaders in making strategic, data-driven decisions, regarding products, additional use cases, customer segments, investments, among other subjects.
- Mine data to validate methodology for complex global metrics before providing build details to IT for the semantic layer.

- Brings new ideas and techniques to the team to inform the analytics roadmap and deliverables.

Qualifications & Experience Experience : 7-8 years of relevant analytics experience.
Demonstrated leadership skills with a minimum of 3 years' experience in leading high-performing analytics teams.
Education : Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Sciences, Data Analytics, Management Information Systems, or related quantitative field, Master's degree a plus
Technical Skills (Must Have)- Well versed with industry practices for best-in-class analytics and data visualization.
- Previous experience in driving a Supply Chain analytics platform.
- Strong Experience with tools such as MicroStrategy and DataBricks.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Prior experience / exposure to applying analytics in a Supply Chain environment.
- Strong expertise in using PowerPoint to present analysis findings and provide insights.
- Exposure to creating senior leadership level executive presentations.
- Demonstrated skill at data cleansing, data quality assessment, and using analytics for data assessment.
Technical Skills (Good To Have)- Prior experience / exposure to applying analytics in Fashion / Apparel.
- Exposure to open-source programming languages for data analysis (R or Python).
- Proficiency in SQL and Python, enabling you to extract insights from complex data sets.
