Job description

We are seeking a versatile and proactive individual to join our Commercial Department as a Specialist, Commercial. This role encompasses elements of credit control, collections, and commercial coordination to ensure efficient management of receivables and foster strong financial relationships with our customers. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in finance, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.

Your key responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess the creditworthiness of new and existing customers.
• Establish and maintain credit limits for customers based on financial analysis and risk assessment.
• Implement collection strategies and procedures to minimize overdue accounts.
• Contact customers via phone, email, and other communication channels to follow up on outstanding invoices.
• Maintain accurate records of collection activities and update customer accounts accordingly.
• Liaise with internal departments such as sales and finance to resolve payment-related issues.
• Prepare regular reports on credit exposure, aging analysis, and bad debt Provisions.
• Coordinate with customers for major project account reconciliation and obtain sign off.
• Proactively follow up with the Finance team for activities such as bank guarantees.
• Communicate with customers to obtain necessary forms, letters of credit (LC) drafts, TDS certificates, and other documentation.
