Job Description Company profile One of our client is leading Indian distributor of multi-specialty chemicals company based in Mumbai seeking a Business Development Executive - Specialty Chemicals
The company has history of over 25 years and has over 75 employees across three verticals of Food Ingredients, Personal Ingredients and other Specialty Chemicals . The company deals in over 325 products sourced from over 40 global suppliers and well established relationship with over 4000 clients across India.
Educational Requirement: B.E.– Chemical / Post graduation or graduation with Chemistry subject
Experience : 2 yrs-5 yrs years of relevant industry experience preferably selling of specialty chemicals to industries like paints & coatings, printing inks adhesives etc. Experience is managing products like defoamers,wetting & dispersing agents, preservatives, emulsion polymers, oligomers, photoinitiators, Silanes, Surface modifiers & other specialty products.
About The Role The job entails developing/generating business for speciality chemical products by implementing / executing strategies for growth through the product lines of leading principals we represent to achieve the division's targets.
Brief Description Of Duties - Responsible for achieving the division's sales & receivables targets.
- Keeping track of industry trends about market development, identifying new products, competitive
- activity, customers etc.
- Develop & maintain relations with customers including key accounts and strengthen existing relationships.
- Must consistently track the development of sales strategies and act resourcefully, to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
- Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop unique selling propositions and differentiators for products.
Skills Set/Area Of Expertise - Hands on experience in Paints & Coating industry with exposure of handling products like defoamers, wetting & dispersing agents, preservatives, emulsion polymers, oligomers, photoinitiators, Silanes, Surface modifiers & other specialty products.
- Possess good communication & strategic prospecting skills.
- Sound analytical & problem-solving skills, good negotiation skills & growth mindset
- Willing to travel for 10-15 days minimum in a month.
Preferred Experience - Should have commercial experience of handling customers from industries such as adhesives, printing inks, paper chemicals etc. would be an added advantage.
- Exposure in handling Key accounts as well as mid & small size customers
- Experience in handling customers from different regions of India
- Competency to identify new products/applications to grow the business
