The Role

Are you a tech-savvy problem-solver with a passion for ensuring optimal network performance If so, look no further – Kyndryl is seeking a Network Support Specialist who will be the go-to expert for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting computer networks.

As our Network Support Specialist

  • Installation, Configuration and troubleshooting of Various Network Platform such as Cisco Small, Medium, Large Enterprise Routers, Switches, Cisco WLC/WIFI, ISE, ACS, Cisco ACI, Spine/Leaf, DC Technologies, Viptela, F5 LB such as LTM/GTM, Fortinet Firewall Management, Forti Manager, Aruba Wi-Fi, Aruba ClearPass, Networking Tools Such as SolarWinds, Panaroma, MRTG, ZABBIX, Logic Monitor.
  • Network Design and Planning: Designing and planning network architecture based on business requirements.
  • In-depth knowledge on Cisco ACI, Configuration of User attributes, Design and application of filters, contracts, and policies, Fabric creation and policy configuration, North-south L3out connectivity, Provision and configuration of multi-pod environments, Dynamic tunnel establishment for communication, Configuration of pod spine access policies, Cisco ACI multi-site configuration and global contracts, Implementation of micro-segmentation.
  • Develops an understanding of customer engagements (objectives, project scope, business, and technical requirements) to ensure expectations are met.
  • Produces project-related documents including any required technical architecture diagrams. These documents might include SOW, High-Level Design, Low-Level Design, Migration Plan etc.
  • Upgrade firmware, security patches and latest software upgrades as per client policy
  • Good understanding knowledge and hands-on in Firewall Policy, Routing, security profiles and policy fine-tuning
  • Use network monitoring tools to identify and resolve network outages, latency issues, or bottlenecks.
  • Collaborate with vendors and service providers to schedule maintenance windows and minimize disruptions to network service.
  • Monitoring network performance, system availability, and reliability.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving network issues, including hardware and software problems.
  • Collaborating with other IT professionals to develop and implement network security measures.
  • Conducting regular network maintenance, including updating software and hardware.
  • Documenting network configurations, processes, and procedures and network & Firewall infrastructure.
  • Provide network support to L0 and L1, operational and engineering teams, including assisting with recovery efforts during unplanned network outages.
  • Integrated structured engineering disciplines and processes in order establish high functioning, streamlined network support operations.
  • Provide 24/7 network support including security and disaster recovery readiness.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 3-6 years of experience in Customer Service or Technical Support
  • Experience with Cisco Nexus and IOS technologies
  • Experience with F5 ASM and LTM configuration and troubleshooting
  • Hands-on experience in upgrading ACI components, including APIC controllers and switches.
  • Having an in-depth knowledge of various protocols, such as OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, AAA, QoS, VxLAN, vTEP, F5 LTM/GTM, DNS, Cisco ACS, SDWAN etc.
  • Good understanding and Hands on technologies like IP addressing schema, VLSM, DHCP, DNS etc. Good Hands on Infoblox OEM for managing IPAM solution (ADD / Delete IP address Scope)
  • Strong experience working on implementation, configuration, and administration of NextGen Firewalls i.e. Fortinet and Cisco ASA.
  • Hands-on experience in migrating the firewalls.
  • Hands on experience with troubleshooting tools, techniques and methodology including advance troubleshooting skills at packet levels using Sniffer/ Wireshark / TCPDUMP/ Snoop etc.
  • Proficient in documenting network configurations, changes, and incident resolutions.
  • Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in Next-Gen firewalls for activities including Firewall HA, Site to Site VPN and client VPN.

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

  • Cisco certified
  • Experience with network automation/scripting
