Your Role and Responsibilities
- The IBM Security DevOps team works to deliver leading edge products and solutions to help organizations analyze their data environment to make sound decisions to ensure regulatory compliance and improve their data security. The research and development in this area is critical to IBM and represents a huge opportunity for growth in terms of revenue uplift and technology advancement.
- As a DevOps Developer, you will contribute to a thriving and growing DevOps Engineering team. You will work in a Kubernetes based micro services environment to support our bleeding edge cloud services. This will include custom solutions, as well as open-source DevOps tools (build and deploy automation, monitoring and data gathering for our software delivery pipeline). You will also be contributing to our continuous improvement and continuous delivery while increasing maturity of DevOps and agile adoption practices.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 7+ years of IT experience.
- 4+ Years of proven development and/or DevOps experience deploying and maintaining global multi-tiered infrastructure and web applications.
- Proven operational experience in Linux/Unix environment and scripting languages: Shell scripting & experience in working with Artifact Management systems like JFrog Artifactory or others.
- Design, Lead, drive and implement highly scalable and complex DevSecOps solutions for our clients running on Container orchestration engines such as OpenShift, Kubernetes, Helm Charts, etc
- Demonstrated expertise in automating solutions using Ansible, Python, Terraform, Bash etc
- Demonstrated expertise in applying end to end monitoring with a number of different tools like Instana, Prometheus, New relic, Grafana, etc
- Have a strong background in Cloud IT Infrastructure operations and Management.
- Support continuous service deployment for the technical issues not covered by automation.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
- Effective cross-functional leadership skills: working with engineering and operational teams to ensure systems are secure, scalable, and reliable.
- Ability to review deployment and operational environments, i.e., execute initiatives to reduce failure, troubleshoot issues across the entire infrastructure stack, expand monitoring capabilities, and manage technical operations.
- Demonstrated experience in AWS solutioning using automation tools such as Terraform, Lambda, and others.

Polar’s agentless solution automatically finds unknown and sensitive data across the cloud, including structured and unstructured assets, SaaS apps, and within cloud service providers such as AWS. Once discovered, Polar classifies the data, maps the potential and actual flow of that data, and identifies vulnerabilities, such as misconfigurations, over-entitlements, and behavior that violates policy or regulations.
