Job Description: We are currently in search of a highly proficient and self-motivated CAM Engineer (CNC Machinist) to become an integral member of our esteemed team at SolidCAM India. In this key role, you will assume a central responsibility in enhancing CNC machine productivity for our valued customers. You will be based at Pune. Your role will encompass a range of critical responsibilities, all of which will significantly contribute to our overarching mission of providing state-of-the-art machining solutions. If you possess a fervent dedication to CNC machining technology and boast a robust CAM engineering background, we eagerly await your application. Key Responsibilities: 1. CAM Programming : Utilize SolidCAM's advanced CAD/CAM software to program CNC machines, ensuring precision and efficiency in machining processes. 2. Customer Support : Provide exceptional customer support both offline & online as and when needed. 3. Benchmarks & Demos : Use SolidWorks & SolidCAM to provide tailor made demos to prospective customers & create benchmarks on the CNC Machine to prove SolidCAM is the best CAM system. 4. Post Processor Support : Utilise the powerful Post Processing tools in SolidCAM to Edit & Create customised post processors for CNC Machines. 5. Continuous Improvement : Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in CAM technology, actively contributing to the enhancement of SolidCAM's software and solutions. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes, including Milling, Turning, Mill-Turn and Swiss-type machining. 1 - 3 Years of Experience in CAM Software like MasterCAM / SolidCAM / Espirit / HyperMill / Simens NX Proficiency in CAD software, particularly SOLIDWORKS, SolidEdge and Inventor. Knowledge of 5 Axis Milling & Mill-Turn Machining is an advantage. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Dedication to continuous learning and staying current with industry trends. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering, Production Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). Diploma in Tool & Die Making from NTTF , GTTC or IGTR can also apply. Location: The candidate will be based at Pune. We are looking at candidates who are local to Pune. Traveling: Involves extensive traveling in Pune & All over Maharashtra.
