Job description
GBS Intelligent Automation CoE is the digital transformation engine for Bayer Global Business Services (GBS) organization. It focuses on the re-imagination and digitization of capabilities, processes, services, and reporting for the Enterprise through the design, development, and deployment of scalable digital products and solutions. GBS Intelligent Automation CoE works with the different divisions, regions and markets, leveraging a core set of integrated technologies, such as AI, ML, RPA, Conversational AI.
As a Lead/ Manager Intelligent Automation, you will be collaborating with other Developers to execute the design, development, testing, and delivery of automation and cognitive end-to-end processes leveraging next generation technologies (e.g., RPA, Cognitive / AI, , Intelligent Character Recognition and Computer Vision), with a focus on RPA.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Accountabilities:
- Evangelize with business stakeholders, Product Designers, and other developers within the GBS Intelligent Automation CoE to understand the current state process, business requirements and business goals
- Execute the design, development, and deployment of Hyper automation solutions, Analytics, including attended and unattended bots (e.g., using UiPath HyperAutomation), configure robotics processes and objects using core workflow principles in an efficient manner
- Provide technical consultancy to business partners in driving clarity of business requirements, assess and evaluate the right fit integration solution, high-level design, cost and time estimates to facilitate the production of high-quality charters
- Manage multiple medium to large sized projects across different functions
- Take responsibility during feasibility and capability phases for the translation of business requirements into a functional and technical specifications and management of these into application development
- Globally Partner with Enterprise Technology teams during code review sessions to validate code and receive approvals
- Provide strategic direction to other developers and development leads teams to support production deployment efforts for digital products
- Execute on all data cleansing and validation activities prior to kick-off on development activities by the rest of the team
- Deliver Hyper Automation solutions to align on design choices for digital products, establish the technical vision, and analyze tradeoffs between usability, functionality, and performance needs
- Execute the creation of training manuals for business users regarding digital product operation and troubleshooting
- Execute surveillance of digital products for KPIs, breaks, and defects and perform maintenance as required within the defined SLAs
- Consult with Intelligent Automation Led to implement design and development standards for the GBS.

WHO YOU ARE:
- Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- 9-10+ years overall experience; 3+ years professional experience working directly on the design and development of intelligent automation solutions; 2+ years of experience building large scale automation solutions and maintaining data repositories
- Experience handling and transforming big data using data management tools (e.g., SQL)
- Certification and experience with various intelligent automation tools (e.g., UiPath)
- Experience with coding languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript. OpenCV) and next generation technologies (i.e., AI, ML, OCR, VR, Computer Vision / Image Processing, Deep Learning tools techniques), with a focus on RPA
- Experience with agile development methodology (i.e., Safe Agile)
- Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services, and cloud-specific PaaS and SaaS solutions)
- Exposure to organization wide global digital transformations preferred
