Job description
We are seeking 3 qualified chartered accountants having experience of 1-2 years in the field of audit and taxation to join our team at Shiv & Associates, a leading CA firm. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the Audit Manager in managing audit engagements for a variety of clients. You will be responsible for conducting audit including statutory and tax audits, internal audits, preparing financial statements, and ensuring that all audit procedures are completed in accordance with professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Audit Manager in planning and managing audit engagements
- Conduct fieldwork and perform audit procedures in accordance with professional standards
- Prepare financial statements and other required audit reports
- Identify and communicate audit issues and recommendations to clients and management
- Ensure that all audit work is completed within time constraints
- Assist in training and supervising audit staff
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting, auditing, and tax regulations.
- Managing and independently handling client queries, certifications and other related work.
- Finalizing audit along with audit manager/ partner including tax audits, preparation and filing of income tax returns.
Qualifications
- Qualified Chartered Accountant with 1-2 years post qualification experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or related field
- 1-3 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on auditing
- Experience with a variety of industries, such as manufacturing, healthcare, and non-profit
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Knowledge of accounting, auditing, and tax regulations, including GAAP.
