JOB PURPOSE:
Â
This position has to work on Chemistry SC planning and implementing warehouse activities in API, Ankleshwar in adherence to cGMP / EHS / Statutory guidelines and maintaining proper stock and accounting of materials and ensuring timely issuance of RM & PM to manufacturing, Ensure Audit readiness for warehouse and dispensing processes.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Demand Management
Collection and consolidation of demand/ requirements from customers.
Communication with customers.
Production Planning
Prepare and publish production planning.
Material Planning
Prepare requirement on the basis of production planning and demand analysis Plan purchases and raise requisitions for timely availability of materials.
Distribution
Plan for the shipments in accordance with customer demand/ requirements.
Supply Chain Management
Ensure for material availability and dispatch by coordinating with customers.
Ensure for Customer communication.
Ensure for the demand management.
Implement S&OP and MPS process.
Warehouse Management
Maintaining / implementing warehouse systems as per Global Warehousing standards.
Receiving and issuing RM / PM and other allied materials and ensuring storage of the same at designated place.
Ensuring receipt/ storage/ dispatch of the RM, Intermediates, finished goods, work in progress, and Hazardous waste as per established systems and procedures.
Maintaining proper records of the material stored in the warehouse / tank farm and preparing documents like SOP, RR, Stock register, Entry in SAP, Labeling etc.
Coordinating with Plants, QO, Purchase, and Controlling for Warehouse and Supply chain related matters.
Maintaining and keeping proper statutory records under the Prohibition and Excise Act, the Essential commodities act etc.
Maintaining record of disposal.
Identifying and correcting unsafe conditions or behaviors and promptly reporting other potentially hazardous situations.
To carry out any other Instructions/ Projects as per the guidance of the Department Head.
