What You'll Do
We are looking forward to software engineer test in Eaton's electrical business who is passionate to work in software domain, who understands and inculcate ethical values with transparency. He/She is a quick learner and easily adapts to upcoming technical domains and believes in leading the team from front. He/She is efficient and takes accountability to assigned charter which fits in to overall goals of software, web, desktop and database technologies and solutions. He/She must have a keen eye for quality and should be really passionate about meeting the deadlines.
- Develop/ Create architecture and design for solution in Web and SQL technologies
- Implement the solutions and code for the solutions using the tools and technology stack selected
- Evaluate and suggest new tools and technology stack for solving new business problems
- Evaluate business requirements to determine potential solutions.
- Work directly with stakeholders, engineering, and test to create high quality products that solve customer problems.
- Propose and provide innovative, competitive technical solutions which can make significant business impact and provide value to stakeholders.
- Provide work estimates and conduct design, implementation, and code reviews.
- Develop and execute plans for incremental and interactive project delivery.
- Author high-quality unit-tested code.
- Work with test team to ensure adequate and appropriate test case coverage; investigate and fix bugs
- Mentor team members on the technical aspects
- Suggest continuous improvements for processes and best practices from the industry
Qualifications - BE or Btech or MCA
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in the software industry with a proven track record of shipping high quality products.
Skills - Knowledge in SQL is a must have
- Sound knowledge of Joins, SQL management studio (SSMS),Queries, resultsets, evaluate data & SSRS
- Knowledge in Stored procedures, debug query & Stored Procedures
- Good in C#/C++, Javascript/CSS, DB administration would be an added advantage
- Exposure to Visual Studio, Microsoft Access concepts, Git exprience is good to have
- Experience utilizing best practices in software engineering
- Exposure to cybersecurity
- Experience with web application frameworks and Service Oriented Architecture.
- Experience in an Agile Scrum methodology
- Experience in Atlassian tools – Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, Bitbucket
- Experience in Office 365 – Excel, Word, Power Point
- Very good communication skill
- Able to lead Dev efforts from technical perspective
- Able to think outside of the box in terms of process innovation
- Very good at managing multiple tasks
- Very good at understanding and prioritizing tasks, issues and work
