Energy Aspects currently have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Senior Finance Group Manager to join the team based in Kolkata, providing expert support and contributing to a world-class, and truly global, financial agenda.

Reporting to and supporting the Finance Controller, you will be assisting in the coordination of the full finance and accounting activities. Whilst constantly striving to achieve a first-class experience for business impact by providing finance support globally, you will be someone who champions our culture and sets the very highest of standards in their work. Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the preparation of monthly, quarterly and yearly management accounts across the Group
• Run month-end consolidation process.
• Assist with the preparation of year-end consolidated accounts and auditors’ queries and deliverables for the group
• Managing and providing mentorship and assistance to the AP and AR team in their tasks
• Responsible for the control of inter-company reconciliations across the group
• Review the balance sheets of various entities across the Group and ensure accurate and up-to-date balance sheet reconciliations are produced and maintained
• Work on understanding and recording complex transactions with the reconciliation backup.
• Document and implement internal controls and processes within the Finance Department
• Adhere to internal and external financial reporting and tax deadlines
• Prepare internal month end reports for different teams across the business
• Assist with the group cash flow management and forecasting
• Analysis of Variances, Budget vs. actual, and analysis of cost run-rate per account/department
• Monthly payroll integration into the general ledger and associated reporting

Requirements:

• A qualified accountant with a broad skill set gained from your time in practice or industry.
• Demonstratable experience of working in different aspects of the Group Financial or similar role
• Experience working with multi-currency consolidations desirable not essential
• Experience in presenting to senior stakeholders
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programmes
• Excellent communication skills
