Handle the guest check-ins for regular, walk-in and VIP guests taking care of the entire process of receiving the guests at the front desk and to ensure that they are escorted to the room and are comfortable along with getting the necessary documentation in place for payments.
Welcome letters for guests
Handling group bookings and check-ins and check - outs
Dealing with guest complaints and requests.
Checking the arrival list along with checking late night arrivals in the night shift
Preparing a list of all the single ladies in the hotel and hand it to the operators for screening their calls.
Interdepartmental Interaction with Housekeeping for room status, VIP amenities room change and any other guest request, Room service in the case of a room change so that the in house dining orders reach the concerned guest
Handling the complementary room, rate variance, market statistics and no show reports
Block the VIP rooms and keep the keys and personal stationary ready to facilitate express check-in.
Meet guests at check in and check out and check guest feedback
Check birthdays and anniversaries for in-house guests.
Adherence to the guidelines mentioned in the TPAM and TCOC and thorough adherence to the IT etiquettes is to be followed.
To always adhere to personal grooming as per the standards laid down by the hotel and to ensure that all staff in the Department maintain high standards of grooming.
In addition to the above functions, any other assignment / job given by the superior authority occasionally or on a daily basis are to be performed.
