Roles & Responsibilities (Operations): Network device Configuration (Routing & Switching) updates to support device commissioning and de-commissioning. Monitor and manage Nektar Network Support for Network LAN infrastructure (DHCP, DNS, WINS, VLANs, QOS, Network Access Control (NAC) and Wireless LANs, load balancers, IP address management, network segmentation) Provide help with capacity planning for DC LAN Network Perform troubleshooting activities to maintain the LAN availability. Support for IP address management, and DNS services. Capacity planning, forecasting, & system optimization Configuration, implementation, and testing of new network Switches. Assist in creating and planning LAN/WAN/VPN strategies and requirements. Coordinate with SPs and hardware vendors for network components. Recommend network capacity thresholds. Provide capacity and performance reports on a quarterly basis or more frequently, as needed, to confirm proper operation. Report performance against service-level requirements, performance, capacity, and utilization. Coordinate with Client, affiliated entities, and public carriers, as required. Configure LAN (hardware and software) Document and maintain network equipment configuration files and IP addressing schemas. Assist Nektar in managing the performance of public carriers (and other third parties) to meet defined schedules, project plans, service level requirements (SLR), etc. Perform day to day network operation and administration activities. Manage all network devices in accordance with Client’s policies (including security oversight and change management policies)

Technical Responsibilities: Maintain IP addressing schemes, router/switch configurations, routing tables, VPN configurations, etc. Annual Network failover testing Load Balancer, Router, and Switch Administration On-going backup and restoration of the device Configs as needed. Configuration of Debug Logs Adding the appropriate configurations to support additional sites as needed. Syslog review and resolution of discovered issues Deploying and Configuring Azure Virtual Network EIGRP Configuration, Enable/Disable Ports Execute Standard/Non-Standard Changes IPAM (DHCP), STP Configuration ISP Co-ordination for new circuit installations and turn-ups. Monitoring all ISP links for Availability and degradation Monitoring of Switches, Routers and Firewall alerts Orchestrating Routing Paths, WAF policies, Load Balancer IP pools Patching and upgrading the switches, firewalls, and APs. User Access Management when access to the network devices is not through SSO. VLAN definition, creation, maintenance, and troubleshooting

Required Experience/Skills: 4-9 years of experience in Networking (Routing & Switching, Wireless & Firewall) In-depth knowledge of Network and network topology. Experience with large scale data center architecture and implementation. Familiarity with local & wide area networks Experience in operating in ITIL process driven projects. In-depth knowledge on Azure cloud (added advantage).
