Job Description
- 5+ years Relevant IT software experience (Technical-Developer) using ETL Technologies.
- Minimum 4 years of development experience in IBM DataStage, IBM Information Analyzer, SQL, UNIX/LINUX.
- Strong fundamentals in Data warehousing and BI concepts
- Strong Data Quality experience using IBM Information Analyzer (IA)
- Strong knowledge of relation database, specifically Oracle (SQL - PL/SQL)
- Technical expertise in the design, development, coding, unit testing and debugging of software.
- Solid experience working with requirement analysts gathering business requirements, understanding requirements giving feedback about how it can be technically be implemented using ETL etc.
- Expertise in Data Analysis and Management.
- Quick learner and self-starter who requires minimal supervision to excel in a dynamic environment.
- Deep understanding of the software development process.
- Strong Written and verbal communication skills.
- Analysis of Business requirements and create technical design documents, data models, data flow diagrams.
- Develop DataStage Sequence and Parallel Jobs with complex transformations using relevant stages Unit Testing, Integration Testing, test cases preparation.
- Experienced in Unix shell scripting & SQL queries.
- Experience in building Control m ladders & integration.
- Closely work with customer technical Leads, DPOs. Coordinate with QA teams.
- 6 Must be able to work in Agile execution mode & participate in various agile ceremonies. Flexible to extend work hours. 2Hrs of Overlap with Onsi te, as needed.
- Design, develop and deliver data integration/data extraction solutions using IBM DataStage, DB2/Oracle
- Monitor all data stage jobs and provide production support to all.
- Design and analyze all ETL jobs edition.
- Develop Data Quality rule in Information Analyzer and execute them through DataStage job
- Manage work and apply various performing techniques.
- Coordinate with team members and administer all onsite and offshore work packages.
- Schedule and plan all data stage tasks.
- Review all functional business applications and specifications.
- Design various block diagrams and logic flowcharts.
