Job Description1.Shop floor management domain Knowledge:• In-depth understanding of shop-floor planning processes in manufacturing.• Familiarity with manufacturing workflows, production scheduling, and capacity planning.2.Analytical Skills:1. Ability to analyse and interpret complex data related to production efficiency, resource utilization, and inventory management.2. Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or business intelligence tools.3.Communication Skills:• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders, including production teams, managers, and IT professionals.• Ability to translate technical concepts into non-technical language for different audiences.4.Requirements engineering and Documentation:• Experience in gathering and documenting business requirements for shop-floor planning systems.• Skill in creating clear and concise user stories, use cases, and process flow diagrams.5.Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, logistics, IT, and quality assurance.• Skill in managing and prioritizing stakeholder expectations.6.Problem-Solving Skills:• Strong problem-solving skills to identify and address challenges in shop-floor planning processes.• Ability to propose and implement effective solutions.7.Technology Proficiency:• Familiarity with shop-floor planning software and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).• Understanding of Industry 4.0 concepts and technologies.• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).8.Change Management:• Ability to drive and manage change within the organization, especially when implementing new shop-floor planning systems or process improvements.• Skill in addressing resistance to change and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.9.Quality Management:• Knowledge of quality management principles and practices in manufacturing.• Familiarity with relevant standards and certifications.10.Risk Management:• Ability to identify and assess risks associated with shop-floor planning processes and propose mitigation strategies.• Experience in risk analysis and risk management planning.
