MRI Software is currently seeking a  Information Security Engineer to join our Infosec team focused on penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on Web applications, API, Mobile (IOS & Android), Network systems to identify vulnerabilities and potential security risks.
• Identify vulnerabilities including those related to SQLi, XSS, XXE and other common application security threats.
• Proven experience in application penetration testing, particularly using industry standard tools.
• Experience using security testing tools such as Burp Suite, Nmap, Nessus, Metasploit, Soap UI, Postman etc.
• Knowledge of industry standards and frameworks such as OWASP, SANS for penetration testing and cybersecurity.
• Experience in CVSS framework that assesses and quantifies the severity of security vulnerabilities.
• Strong understanding of application technologies and latest security vulnerabilities.
• Good knowledge of how modern applications are designed, developed, and deployed across different platforms.
• Understanding of OWASP and MITRE ATT&CK framework and the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Ability to identify, exploit, and mitigate a wide range of web application vulnerabilities.
• Work closely with the development team to understand the architecture of the applications. Provide actionable recommendations for securing the applications against identified vulnerabilities.
• Deliver comprehensive technical vulnerability reports that clearly outline both technical and business risks, include steps for exploit replication and remediation steps.
• Capable of executing automation scan and accurately discerning false positives.
• It’s good to have knowledge of threat modeling.

Qualifications:

• Must hold an Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) certification.
• B.Tech/B.E. in Any Specialization
• Strong knowledge of foundational IT concepts
• Capable of working across various time zones
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent and proficient in English to enable delivery of verbal and written reports and presentations to both technical and executive audience.
