Job description
Functional Expertise: Experience as an in-house consultant for data/reporting structures and key business KPIs in the FMCG/CPG industry. Understanding of SAP landscape and processes such as Procure to Pay and Order to Cash.
Development Responsibilities: Gather requirements in specified templates for new projects and define the project charter. Prepare logical data models and design solutions that leverage existing platforms to deliver the most optimized BI projects. Create and manage data pipelines, stored procedures, analysis services, and Power BI models. Create and maintain technical design documents and user onboarding manuals. Administrative Responsibilities: Act as the single point of contact for business functions to ensure the sustainability and enhancement of existing developments. Conduct super user training on Power BI for self-service decision-making. Maintain platform hygiene through continuous cleanup and optimization to ensure judicious resource utilization. Ensure data security from a role and access control perspective for all datasets exposed to end-users. Platform Expertise: Azure Data Factory and integration. Synapse Analytics (Azure Data Warehouse). SQL Server Analysis Services. Power BI visualization and DAX. Candidate Profile: Bachelor’s degree in computer science (BE/BTech) with 8+ years of experience. Certification in SQL Data Modeling and Power BI is preferred.Job tags
