Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Staff Accountant located in Jammu. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for daily accounting activities including accounts payable and receivable, preparing and reviewing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and analyzing financial data. The Staff Accountant will also be responsible for updating and maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, and assisting with other finance-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in accounting principles and practices
- Experience with accounting software and MS Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience
- Knowledge of tax laws and regulations is a plus
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
