Role Description
It is crucial for the bank to understand how profitable each businesses activity is and Finance has a responsibility to understand precisely the resource commitment the bank makes to any given client or transaction e.g. cost, capital, funding, liquidity and risk. Finance is playing a central role in keeping the bank focused on simplification and financial resource management.

Our key functions range from Regional Finance, Finance Chief Accounting Office, Group Finance, Treasury, Planning and Performance Management, and Investor Relations to enabling functions such as Finance Change and Administration. These teams make sure we cover all Finance specific aspects for our internal and external stakeholders such as shareholder, employees, clients, and regulators. Together, it is the role of Finance to oversee all financial details for Deutsche Bank globally.
Global Reporting role encompasses the following key functions:
- Regulatory and Public disclosures in year-end and quarter-end reporting related to balance sheet, solvency and securitization topics
- Ad hoc reports to regulators for the above related requests
- Internal management reports for the above related requests
- Responsible for governance and controls over financial/risk reporting and work closely with internal and external auditors
- Preparation of movement analysis and apprising on movements to Group Finance FDs on all risk balance sheet, Asset Quality, RWA and securitization related topics
- Establish best practice for collaboration with various CTB functions (including Finance CTB, GTO) to ensure appropriate system environment for risk metrics and regulatory reporting topics.
- M-on-M movement analysis for balance sheet and off-balance sheet products and understanding of the business drivers.
- Managing the day-to-day relationship with key stakeholders across locations to ensure strong working partnership and build up a collaborative model
- Providing updates to Senior Management on the production process and highlight key risks in a timely manner
- Drive and contribute to infrastructure projects such as the deployment of new regulatory requirements
- Looking at simplification & standardization of processes
- Knowledge of IFRS and upcoming changes in IFRS rules & implications there of

Your Key Responsibilities
- Independently lead the teams responsible for regulatory submissions including FinRep, CoRep and other regulatory submissions and internal reports for Risk team.
- Manage internal and external audit on our submissions.
- Support other financial and risk reporting requirements such as risk forums, ALCO, Board meetings by way of understanding the requirements of stakeholders, preparation of applicable decks etc.
- Performing data analysis and financial modelling to support decision-making on solvency and securitization transactions and ongoing reporting requirements.
- Identifying and resolving any issues related to data quality, completeness, or accuracy, and ensuring appropriate controls are in place to mitigate risks.
- Staying up to date with industry developments and regulatory changes related to securitization and providing recommendations to appropriate stakeholders on potential impacts and opportunities.
- Lead from Finance perspective, any process review/re-design pertaining to such entities necessitated by any process improvement idea/regulatory requirement
- Work in close coordination with Finance and Risk teams in Frankfurt, London, and Mumbai on RTB and Change deliveries.
- Ability to develop and leverage relationships with multiple teams within organization for delivery on business goals
- Prior experience of process migrations would be added advantage.

- The candidate must be a highly motivated and high performing individual.
- He/ She must be able to handle all levels of complexity in their product coverage or area under control, be able to multitask with relative ease and be flexible enough in shifting workload in accordance with changing priorities and be comfortable dealing with a sometimes stressful and fast-paced month end priority-driven environment.
- He she is expected to have demonstrated experience of working with multiple teams in a matrix organization
- 12+ years working experience (preferably in Finance teams of banks, securities firms, investment banks or professional accounting / audit firms or in a similar capacity in a BPO / KPO center).
- Prefer knowledge of trading products, their valuations and control processes. Prior experience in a controllership role would be highly valuable
