Job description

Position Summary

A Consultant will be responsible for the configuration and troubleshooting of performance management solutions and other related software solutions to meet the client's business and technical requirements. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work directly with our client base within India and the APAC region.

Responsibilities in this role also include consulting throughout the software implementation lifecycle, from requirements gathering, design, build, testing and go-live. Consultants will work with senior team members to capture and validate notes from client discovery and review sessions then performing configuration and development tasks both independently as well as under the direction of senior team members.

Job Objectives

The ideal candidate will be able to:

  • Configure within the Varicent platform as per design provided
  • Expertise in SQL, PL/SQL procedure and packages
  • Good knowledge on Compensation rules and underlying attributes mapping
  • Own specific deliverables in any phase per assigned projects
  • Respond promptly to customer requests and whenever possible within requested timelines
  • Adapt communication appropriately with client, leader, and project team
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of software development lifecycle
  • Make meaningful contributions to requirements and design documentation
  • Configure application per design specifications
  • Provide SIT / UAT Test phase support related to owned deliverables
  • Demonstrates the ability to solve complex problems
  • Demonstrate knowledge of practice specific concepts and best practices (such as SPM, incentive compensation, HCM, CPQ, etc.)
  • Share knowledge with colleague / team members

Requirements

Nice to Have Skills

  • Minimum 2+ years working in technical implementation consulting
  • Bachelor's degree or higher / equivalent work experience
  • External client facing experience / prior consulting experience
  • Experience working with SQL & RDBMS
  • Advanced skillsets in excel / spreadsheet software
  • Good communication skills including writing, listening, and speaking
