Overview:
The Telesales role is a key position within our organization responsible for driving sales and revenue through proactive outbound calling to potential customers. This position plays a critical role in promoting our products or services identifying sales opportunities and providing exceptional customer service to generate new business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Initiate outbound calls to potential customers to promote products or services
- Identify and pursue sales opportunities
- Understand customer needs and requirements
- Provide accurate information about products or services to customers
- Negotiate and close sales
- Maintain and update customer databases with relevant information
- Meet and exceed sales targets
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure customer satisfaction
- Keep abreast of product and industry knowledge
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Document sales activities and customer interactions
- Report on sales metrics and contribute to team performance
- Utilize CRM systems effectively
- Adapt to changes in sales strategies and products
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in telesales or a similar sales role
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities
- Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks
- Customer serviceoriented mindset
- Knowledge of sales and marketing principles
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office
- Selfmotivated and targetdriven
- Resilience and persistence in a competitive sales environment
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelors degree is a plus
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to work under pressure in a fastpaced environment
