About The Role As a GRC Analyst, you will have an exciting and challenging opportunity to develop, implement, and maintain enterprise risk including risk and compliance management framework, best, policies and procedures, implementation / maintenance of incidents and issues management, design and implementation of strong controls and support the business teams and work on the BC and DR activities.
You will assist in creating a strong risk management culture and will be recognized for providing risk management advice to the business. You will play a key role to increase and improve overall risk and compliance management, and business resiliency while working closely with our business teams to ensure that commitments are delivered on time, to specification and with quality and strong controls environment (per ISO31000). You will support and drive the teams in managing and running BCM and DR activities (per ISO22301).
What You'll Do - Develop and implement enterprise risk management practices including operational risk framework, policies and procedures, risk appetites, incidents and issues management process.
- Assist with identifying, reviewing, monitoring, assessing and documenting risks and managing/ supporting various business functions and departments.
- Define approach to identify the root cause analysis and identifying corrective actions and guide various functions in their remediation actions in managing risks and issues. This may also include activities such as design, development and implementation of controls in support of the business functions and stakeholders.
- Assist with developing training and education materials in BCM, risk and compliance management application.
- Support in completing internal audits and deep dives as and when required (to cover ISO standards, operational risks and compliance controls, prudential / regulatory obligations, BCM requirements, SOC2 requirements, etc.)
- Support and assist the GRC team and Head of GRC in setting the agenda and completing regular governance reporting to senior management, relevant governance forums as required, including the Board Audit Risk Committee.
- Undertake ad hoc reviews, risk assessments, deep dives and or other internal investigations following internal incidents, issues, near misses and external events and support other GRC team members in various risk activities in addition to BCM.
- Develop and maintain relevant documentation for Operational Risk framework, BCM, BCP and DR solutions.
- Assist with the on-going development, review and continuous improvement of the BCM activities including BIAs/ BCPs and IT Disaster Recovery plans within the BCM space. Ensure that plans and processes are current so that IT Service and business areas are prepared and able to respond to an invocation of the Disaster Recovery plan.
- Assist in the overall coordination for the entire business continuity and disaster recovery process during testing or critical systems and site outage events.
- Participate and contribute to emergency management plans, incident response plans, crisis communications, and workspace recovery in line with the needs of the organisation.
Unleash your potential To be successful in this role, your background and experience will include:
- At least 2 to 5 years of experience in business continuity management (BCM) and disaster recovery management (preferably in both the financial services sector and IT sector) and risk management.
- Proven experience developing ERM/ ORM and CRM framework, setting up risk assessment and operational risk and business continuity procedures and implementing these including controls and incidents and issues management.
- Demonstrable understanding of business continuity and Disaster recovery processes and implementation.
- Demonstrable understanding of AS/NZS 5050:2010 and ISO 22301
- Demonstrable understanding of risk management and assessment, ISO 31000, COSO, COBIT
- Excellent professional written and oral communication skills.
- Prerequisite experience in using Microsoft excel, word, powerpoint, outlook applications.
- Some data analytics or data analysis skills.
