Torchit is an assistive tech social enterprise that is committed to the inclusion and empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) especially for visually impaired individuals by providing affordable and effective assistive solutions which help them lead independent lives. Till date, we have impacted 200,000 lives by providing aid and we have partnered with 300+ NGOs, 70+ Corporates for CSR and exporting to 40+ countries.

The USP which Torchit offers is Affordability, Availability and Awareness about multiple assistive solutions for various impairments and we align with 4 SDG's (Sustainable Development Goals) of the United Nations i.e; Good Health & Wellbeing, Quality Education, Decent work & Economic Growth and Reduced Inequalities.

Position Overview

As the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to promote Torchit's mission, increase brand awareness, and drive engagement. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of marketing experience, a passion for assistive technology, and a strong commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and execute a cohesive marketing strategy aligned with Torchit's overall goals and objectives.
  • Create a plan to increase the Torchit's brand awareness which leads to increase in the lead conversions.
  • Identify target audiences and create tailored marketing campaigns to reach and engage them effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency in messaging and branding.

Content Development

  • Create compelling and inclusive content for various marketing channels, including social media, blogs, email campaigns, and promotional materials.
  • Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure a consistent flow of relevant and impactful content. Digital Marketing:
  • Manage Torchit's online presence, including website content, social media platforms, and online advertising.
  • Utilize SEO and other digital marketing techniques to increase online visibility and reach a broader audience.

Public Relations

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with media outlets, influencers, and partners to enhance Torchit's visibility.
  • Draft press releases, articles, and other media communications.

Analytics And Reporting

  • Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns using relevant metrics.
  • Provide regular reports to the leadership team, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3-4 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the assistive technology or healthcare industry.
  • Proven success in developing and implementing effective marketing strategies.
  • Passion for assistive technology and a genuine commitment to Torchit's mission.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools, analytics, and CRM software.
