Roles & Responsibilities
● News and information gathering: Monitor news sources, including online platforms, press releases, white papers, research reports, and social media, to identify industry-specific relevant and newsworthy stories. Conduct research and gather information and verify facts.
● Interviews: Conduct interviews with relevant individuals, including Kimbal employees, industry leaders, and others, to gather firsthand information and multiple perspectives on a topic.
● Creating content: Be able to develop the newsletters, reports, white papers, case studies, articles, and social media posts.
● Fact-checking and verification: Verify the accuracy and credibility of information by cross-referencing multiple sources, conducting background checks, and confirming details with reliable sources.
● Stay updated on the latest industry news and trends: Stay up to date with the latest innovations, technological advancements, trends, and occurrences in the energy distribution ecosystem.
● Deadline management: Work effectively under tight deadlines to deliver timely content without compromising accuracy and quality.
● Multimedia storytelling: Utilize various media formats, such as text, images, audio, and video, to create compelling and comprehensive stories. Collaborate with photographers, videographers, and graphic designers to enhance storytelling.
● Adaptation to different platforms: Adapt content for various media platforms, such as print, online, social media, podcasts, or video. Understand the specific requirements and formats of each medium and optimize content accordingly.
● Collaborative Projects: Collaborate with product managers, marketing, sales, and other teams to align your report and industry finds with the company's business objectives and achievements. Meanwhile, help them efficiently document their workflows and processes for internal use.
● Make multiple drafts: Incorporate edits suggested by the subject matter experts and editors in your drafts.
