The company manufactures shirts, shorts, trousers, jackets and shackets and has partnerships with major brands such as Bass Pro Shops, Urban Outfitters, Chubbies, Black Diamond, Scout and Caterpillar.

Role Description

This is a hybrid internship role for a Designer at Sreekumaar Texind Corporation. The Designer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks in the design department, including creating designs and patterns for garments, selecting fabrics and colors, and collaborating with team members. This role will be primarily based in Chennai, but some remote work will be acceptable.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite and clo 3d and v stitcher
• Strong creativity and design skills and fit and fall analyst skill requried
• creating mood board
• creating size charts and grading sheets
• creating technical sheets for the design
• Presentation skill
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Enrollment in or completion of a design program is preferred
• Previous design experience is a plus
• Experience with textile and garment manufacturing is a plus
