This position is responsible for handling regulatory compliance, COP testing, Homologation requirements, in order to compliance to Regulatory norms on vehicle performance dealing with government test agencies, Meeting AIS037 compliance for parts as per timeline

Relevant Experience :
Minimum education qualification Basic: B.E./ B. Tech. (Mechanical / Production/Metallurgy)
Minimum experience requirement 5-10 years
Working knowledge requirement: Automobile Industry, Strong understanding of Manufacturing process, Quality Management System, Problem Solving Techniques, Regulatory norms & statutory requirements, Horiba/AVL Emission & Dyno system, CMVR, TAP 115/116 document, Homologation and Export COP requirements
Key Responsibilities:

1Regulatory Compliance
- Preparation and execution of COP Certification plan for Car-models and version change according to ECM requirement produced for domestic market.
- Planning and execution of Export COP requirements
- Investigation of Non-complying vehicles in audit test along with R&D team
- Coordination for Vehicle Running In-Servicing at dealer, Preconditioning of COP selected cars
- Preparation & issuance of COC certificate for export vehicles.
- Vehicle audit as per CMVR requirements
- % compliance to audit plan
- COP compliance to all models in FY
- Compliance to vehicle audit plan
2Safety Component Regulatory Compliance
- Meeting AIS037 compliance for parts as per timeline
- % compliance as per timeline
3Coordination with Internal and External Agencies
- Coordination with Test agencies like ARAI, ICAT for COP certification
- Witness emission tests at test agency
- Issue resolution at test agency on COP vehicles
- Compliance to COP Plan
- Issue resolution time
