Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Educational Counselor at Xaviers Institute of Business Management Studies located in Mumbai. The Educational Counselor will be responsible for providing educational and career counseling to students, conducting student consultations, and maintaining communication with students in regards to their academic progress. The Educational Counselor will also collaborate with other staff members to develop and implement counseling programs that support student success.
Qualifications
- Educational Consulting and Student Counseling skills
- Excellent Communication skills
- Career Counseling and Education skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Counseling, or related field
- Experience in higher education counseling or related field
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of counseling theories and practices
Experience in distance learning education is preferred for this role. The ideal candidate should have a passion for helping students achieve their academic and career goals, possess the ability to work collaboratively with other staff members, and be committed to providing excellent customer service to students.
