Interview to be done online Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and passionate Mushroom Grower to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in mushroom cultivation, a deep understanding of mycology, and a commitment to maintaining high standards in crop yield, quality, and sustainability. Responsibilities: Manage the day-to-day cultivation activities, including substrate preparation, inoculation, and monitoring mushroom growth. Implement and maintain optimal environmental conditions for different stages of mushroom cultivation, ensuring proper temperature, humidity, ventilation, and light levels. Perform regular inspections and quality checks to ensure adherence to standards and identify and address any issues that may affect crop quality or yield. Monitor and control pests, diseases, and other factors that could impact mushroom growth, employing appropriate measures to mitigate risks. Oversee harvesting, sorting, and packaging procedures to maintain the quality and freshness of the harvested mushrooms. Maintain records of cultivation activities, inventory, and any necessary reports for compliance purposes. Collaborate with the farm manager, cultivation team, and other departments to achieve production targets and continuous improvement goals. Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in mushroom cultivation methods. Qualifications: Proven experience in mushroom cultivation or related agricultural field. Deep knowledge of mushroom species, mycology, and the cultivation process. Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety and food hygiene standards. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot cultivation-related issues. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Flexibility to work in varying environmental conditions and physically demanding tasks.Job tags
