Job description
Job Brief :What would your job look like :You will be working as a Java/NodeJS developer and your responsibilities will be as mentioned below :- Help other developers resolve technical problems work with the team business analysts to solve business-related issues- Work with the development team to architect and design solutions to meet the business requirements- Assist in the research and selection of tools, products and frameworks as necessary to support the business- Participate in working with business groups- Working closely with business analysts, product managers and other members of the team to analyse and refine requirements for new features and design efficient solutions- Design, code, test program and maintain the complex custom-build solutions based on Enterprise Java technology and related frameworks- Build custom solutions based on agreed upon design and architecturesWho you are :Technical Skills :- Experience in NodeJS/Java, Java reactive, Spring Boot, Maven- Experience in Development of Micro service based architecture is required too.- Should have worked on Sql DB's(Microsoft SQL, Postgres SQL, Oracle etc.) and No SQL DB Mongo/Cassandra)- Being proficient in SQL is key for querying databases, performing data transformations, and data manipulation.- Should be proficient in writing SQL queries- Experience in developing API's using Spring boot is a must.- Good understanding of doing dev performance testing is required.- Should be good in Data structures and algorithms.- Experience in writing unit test cases is required.- Experience in any project management tool preferably JIRA is required.- Should have understanding of Asynchronous and Synchronous calls to DB and network- Should have understanding on how managed code like Java works.- Good to have knowledge on Multi threading concepts.Soft Skills :- Communication Skills: Ability to translate complex data findings into clear and actionable insights for nontechnical stakeholders.- Problem-solving: The ability to approach challenges & problems methodically and put a structure to it and solve innovative solutions.- Critical Thinking: To interpret data accurately and make informed decisions.- Attention to Detail: Ensures data accuracy and recognizes anomalies.- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.- Business Acumen: You have a basic understanding of business operations, marketing strategies, and product to align analytical initiatives with business goals.Brownie points for :- Machine Learning: While not necessary always, having a basic understanding of machine learning concepts and models can be advantageous- Industry Experience: While not always a deal-breaker, having experience in your particular industry can provide valuable context.- Portfolio/Case Studies: It can be beneficial if the candidate has a portfolio or specific case studies showcasing their achievements and how they drove impact.- Agile: Having worked in an Agile work model and familiar with tools such as JIRA, Confluence etc.Location :You can choose to work out of our office spaces in : Dubai, UAEWhat We Offer :- A competitive salary with regular reviews that reflect your contribution to the company- A benefits package that's on par or better than most of the market.- Medical insurance, VISA sponsorship.- Annual round-trip flights to home country- 30 paid working days leave per year + public holidays etc.- Lunch in office- Flexibility when it comes to timings, attire etc.- Working in a small but dynamic team full of smart people and motivated professionals from different cultures and backgrounds.- A start up culture where the focus is both on getting work done and having fun while doing it.- Ample opportunities to display ownership and initiative.- The gratifying feeling of seeing your work implemented and being at the forefront of growing the businesses you work for.
